1. What are your consignment terms?
Please visit our consignment terms page or our store for all the details but, in summary, this is how it works:

  • Consignment period is for 60 days
  • Consigner earns 50% of sold amount for furniture and 40% for all other items. Earnings may be collected in cash or check or used as store credit. We give an extra 10% of total earnings when used as store credit.
  • There will be a $12.00 yearly fee assessed for consigning in our store to help us cover the cost of preparing your items for our sales floor. Unlike many stores, we tidy, steam and press each item individually so your items look their best and, consequently, sell better and more quickly
  • After 60 days, unsold items become store property. If the consigner would like to pick up unsold items, there is a nominal fee of $1.00/per item to retrieve the items from the sales floor.
2. How should I prepare my items for consignment?
  • Clothing items should be on hangers or neatly folded in a basket or structured bags – no plastic bags, please!
  • Items should be freshly laundered or dry cleaned, stain and odor free
  • Clothing should be free of wrinkles with no piling or animal hair, snags, holes, tears. (We try to review everything carefully at the start but if defects are found in an item after intake, it will be donated without further notice.)
  • Shoes and boots should be in like-new condition, free of scuffs and neatly polished
  • Shoes that show significant wear will not be considered for consignment
  • All items should be current in fashion and no older than 2 – 3 years
3. Do I need an appointment?
We review consignments on a first-come, first-serve basis Sunday through Friday up to one hour prior to closing our stores. Because it is first-come-first-serve, we do not accept appointments. If you do have a large amount of items, you may want to call our store and make sure someone will be available at the time you are planning to come in to minimize your wait time. If you have a large amount of items to liquidate, you may want to consider scheduling an in-home visit. There is a fee for this service but it can be very helpful if you need to move a large volume of items out quickly.
4. What if I don’t have time to wait?
If you do not want to pick up the items we don’t accept, you can fill out an intake form and consignment agreement and leave your items with us for review. All items not accepted will be donated.
5. How many items can I bring in?
You may bring in an unlimited amount of items. However, please understand that we do need time to review and that there may be other consigners waiting before or after you. If you have a large amount of items, please call our store to let us know you are coming.
6. What types of things do you accept?
We specialize in the resale of new or like-new pre-owned clothing, shoes, bags and accessories. Items should be in-season and in-style and not dated or damaged. We also accept a limited amount of home items and furniture at our Westminster location. We are very selective about what we accept so we may ensure the quality of our inventory and the great reputation of our stores. We hand select items based on what sells best in our store based on years of experience. 7. What things do you NOT take?
  • Discount store brands
  • Lower-end department store house brands
  • Items with brand labels removed
  • Maternity or wedding attire of any kind
  • Mens’ and childrens’ clothing
  • Vintage items are accepted on a very limited basis
  • Sizes above 1X, 18 and 20W in Lafayette & Westminster
  • Items that are stained, pilled, damaged, excessive pet hair, smoke smell or dated
